About Our Camp Site

As you can see from the above arial photograph, there is plenty of ground to camp on, although, wire and rope pens are not permitted. The property is privately owned and we would like to leave it intact; because, as you know, horse hooves can be very damaging.

There are no hook-ups on the grounds, but there will be fresh water tanks at various sites and hoses for cooling your horse after rides.

The trails are not pleasure trails, but not quite intermediate either. Horses that people bring are gaited and non-gaited. The rides are divided and go in different directions. Saturday and Sunday the trails are switched. This way, everyone gets to ride both trails.

The food is wonderfull, and tables are located under a pavillion with plenty of room to eat. You also get packed lunches for the rides! They are handed out prior to the start of the ride and there is more than one choice for the lunches.

There is also a big bonfire in the evenings. Plus, you can walk around the grounds to look at all the great horses. Sometimes, people will bring horses that they are willing to sale. What better way to check out new potential herd members!

If you have any pictures from last trail rides here, please send them to me at WebMaster so I can post them in the photo section. Include captions.
